Outline creation: a detailed outline is created from interviews and completed within one week.
Client interviews: Interviews usually finish within two weeks, with ongoing availability for further discussions.
Schedule your project : once you’ve realized your story is worth the investment, we schedule your project’s start date.
Draft your manuscript: the first draft of your manuscript is completed within three months after you’ve landed your book deal.
Land a book deal: our agent finds a publishing house to buy your manuscript. This step can take up to three months to complete.
Find an agent for your proposal : I pitch your manuscript at conferences and query agents electronically, a process that can take up to six months.
Edits and reviews: rewrites and edits typically take 1-4 months, depending on client feedback.
If Traditional Publishing Is Not for Your Story...
Publish your book: I work closely with the publishing house to conduct all edits and rewrites required by their editors until your manuscript is released. The timeline for this step varies from publishing house to publishing house.
As mentioned in the initial product description, not every story can be traditionally published. The market fluctuates regularly, and landing a traditional book deal is highly competitive. If we do not find a home with a traditional publisher for your manuscript, then we commence writing and publishing your book with Sonorous Flames Publishing, my publishing press.
